Welcome to SterileProtocol. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, or using any feature of SterileProtocol (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SterileProtocol.
2. Description of Service
SterileProtocol provides:

- FDA GUDID instrument search — a free, public tool for looking up medical device data from the FDA Global Unique Device Identification Database.
- Reprocessing protocol database — structured IFU-extracted cleaning, HLD, and sterilization parameters for medical instruments.
- Compliance resources — educational content aligned with AAMI, TJC, CMS, and HSPA standards.
3. Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
4. Free Trial and Subscriptions
Free Trial
New accounts receive a 24-hour free trial with full access to all certification tracks. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial expires, access to premium features requires an active subscription.
Paid Subscriptions
SterileProtocol offers a Base Plan ($10.99/month for CRCST and CSPDT tracks) and Specialty Add-ons ($3.99/month each for CIS, CER, and CHL tracks). All subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal.
Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access the Service through a single account.

7. Disclaimers
SterileProtocol is an educational tool, not a substitute for professional training, clinical judgment, or manufacturer-provided Instructions for Use (IFUs).
Protocol data in our database is extracted from manufacturer IFUs for educational and reference purposes. Always verify reprocessing parameters against the current manufacturer IFU before clinical use. SterileProtocol does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any protocol data.
Practice questions are designed for exam preparation and do not represent actual certification exam content from HSPA, CBSPD, or any certifying body. SterileProtocol is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to HSPA, CBSPD, TJC, CMS, or AAMI.
